Jared Rehberg is a Vietnamese Adoptee Singer-Songwriter based in Westchester County New York. Also known as Vu Tien Anh, Jared was born somewhere in Vietnam in 1974. With the love and support of the An Lac Orphanage and mothers, Betty Tisdale and Madame Ngai, he came to America in April of 1975 during the week of Operation Babylift. Inspired by a reunion of adult Vietnamese adoptees in 2000, Jared's life work was born. Jared had the honor to collaborate with younger adoptees to share stories and create music.
In 2003 he released his first CD, Waking Up American and followed up with, Somewhere In the Middle in 2010 and Chasing Dragonflies in 2015 . Jared volunteered at Catalyst Foundation's Vietnam Culture Camp in Minnesota and was a Co-Director at the SEAPI Heritage Camps with Heritage Camps For Adoptive Families in Colorado. Jared is a board advisor at non-profit, ATG Against The Grain Productions. ATG Against The Grain Productions released the documentary film Operation Babylift in 2009. Jared was proud to join filmmaker Tammy Nguyen Lee, the cast and help Associate produce this amazing film.
Jared lives in Scarsdale, NY with his wife Ying and daughter Mali. Jared is a Client Services Specialist at CBRE in Saddle Brook, NJ.
